Seismogram

GEUS is responsible for collecting seismological data in Denmark, Greenland, and the Faeroe Islands. The service has been operating continuously since 1926, but even older data exist from Greenland. The main seismograph stations are described in the Station Book.

Seismogram readings send on request on a daily basis, and to the International Seismological Center once a month. Waveform data are available through EIDA and IRIS.

GEUS is a member of ORFEUS, the International Seismological Center, the Federation of Digital Broad-Band Seismograph Networks, and the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
